The South Ayrshire HEEPS ABS programme has been very important for ourselves as it has seen a strong partnership develop between the Energy Agency, SERS and ScottishPower working to identify ways of maximising funding for the local community. The works undertaken by our partners on this programme has been hugely successful in this regard and as a result, we have used this particular project to provide feedback to BEIS, Ofgem and the Scottish Government on the opportunities and challenges with existing legislation as a means of building on its successful foundations.

Midlothian Council has been using SERS Ltd as the main contractor on their National Retrofit Programme (NRP) funded pilot External Wall Insulation (EWI) project at Mayfield. This project went very well and I am satisfied with the quality of the work being carried out and the finish that has been left at the houses and on the site generally.

I would certainly use this company again and Midlothian have engaged them on our next two HEEPS:ABS / ECO EWI projects at Gore bridge and Danderhall in Midlothian.

The standard of the completed works were very high and any changes to detail was discussed on-site and performed right at the first time of asking. All employees were a credit to the company and if anything was required on-site nothing was too much bother to get it done, cleanliness around properties is important at all times and teams laid sheets before starting work and then making sure it was clean and tidy at the end of the day. I would have no problem in recommending SERS to any institute that is wishing to apply External Wall Insulation to their properties.

The construction phase was delivered on time and to programme with very little need for input from the client or agent.
