At SERS, we are committed to working with the Scottish Government to achieving near-zero carbon emissions from our homes by 2035 as part of the Governments National Infrastructure Policy on Energy Efficiency.

In collaboration with Local Authorities and Housing Associations, we are working to meet Social Housing Quality Standards (SHQS) and Energy Efficiency Standards for Social Housing (EESSH).

Working with partners including The Energy Savings Trust (EST) to secure funding to meet Home Energy Efficiency Programmes Scotland (HEEPS) and Scotland’s Energy Efficiency Programme (SEEP) providing funding to targeted local Area Based Schemes (ABS).

Additional project funding may come from the many energy suppliers who have an energy company obligation (ECO) and independent experts who SERS have partnership arrangements with to help meet their ECO requirements. We can assess your housing stock to provide you with a detailed estimation of funding available for all types of housing.

Where funding is supplied, we engage with our partners to ensure that the works meet the stringent technical monitoring audits required by Government and Ofgem to validate funding and ECO certification.
