Founder of SERS Personally Supports Kids in Action 7th February 2014 SERS owner and Group Director Lyndon Jones has once again made his annual personal donation to support Kids in Action.Lyndon who started the company back in 1990 has made a donation to the charity for many years and SERS have raised money to support his donation through a variety of activities in the past.Kids In Action was founded in 1996 by Paul Bowen-James, Mandy Cooper & Robert Collis. The initial aim was to provide a weekly Youth Club for special needs children and to take part in various sporting and social activities. This proved to be a great success, not only for the children but for the parents as well – as they have made long-term friendships and gained support from other families. As the charity grew the friendships between the families blossomed and they soon added group holidays to their list of activities. These special holidays became so popular that their adventures widened, supporting groups to go to places like France and USA Disney World. To help families get a break they have now purchased three luxury caravans, one of which is fully fitted with a hoist, disability aids and support equipment, at the Haven Holiday Park at Caister on Sea.SERS are passionate about supporting the local community through charitable donations and sponsorships.Read our News page and find out more about our social inclusion activities.
